Selective participation in the Fuji Freshman race series.

- 日産プリンスの誘いにより、ワークスドライバーとして富士フレッシュマン（NPオープン・DRスカイライン）にフルエントリー。
ポールポジション率7.5割、勝率5割でシリーズチャンピオンとなる。
8月よりFJ1600にもエントリー。3戦目で表彰台に立つ。Invited by Nissan Prince, raced in the Fuji Freshman (NP Open/DR Skyline) series for the entire season as a driver for Nissan Prince.
Became the series champion with a .750 pole-position rate and a .500 win rate.
Raced in the FJ1600 series from August and reached the podium in his third race. - 1986
- FJ1600参戦開始。全6戦中4戦にのみ出場し入賞多数。全日本ツーリングカー選手権参戦（DR30スカイライン）。
SJ（スポーツカージュニア）参戦。鈴鹿1000km出場。筑波9時間耐久レース出場。Competed in the FJ1600 series, participating in four of the six rounds, scoring points several times.

- 全日本F3選手権参戦（東名自動車）。日産レーシングエンジン開発ドライバーを努める。
Competed in the All-Japan Formula Three Championship (for Tomei Motors). Worked as a driver for the development of racing engines for Nissan.

同時に新車開発、レーシングマシン開発を努める。Competed in the Japan Touringcar Championship and the VW Pokal Cup. Placed several times.

全日本ツーリングカー選手権、全日本F3選手権、ニッサンザウルスカップ参戦。
年間30戦に及ぶレースを消化。優勝を含む入賞多数。Competed in the Japan Touringcar Championship, the Japanese Formula 3 Championship, and the Nissan Saurus Cup.

- N1耐久レースシリーズに準日産準ファクトリー体制で参戦。スカイラインレース仕様の開発を担当。優勝入賞多数。
スパ・フランコルシャン24時間耐久レース参戦（ベルギー）。グループNクラス3位（総合13位）。
ワークスカップ全戦ポールポジションから優勝。勝率100%でシリーズチャンピオンに輝く。
シャモニー24時間レース参戦（フランス）。
WRCに参戦するパルサーGTiRの日産開発テストを担当。Competed in the N1 Endurance Series for Nissan’s semi-factory team. Was responsible for the development of a race-spec Skyline. Placed many times, including victories.
Competed in Total 24 Hours of Spa (Belgium) and finished third in Group N Class (13th overall).
Pole-to-win in all of the Works Cup rounds. Won the series championship with 1.000 win rate.
Competed in Chamonix 24 Hours (France).
Took charge of development testing for the Nissan Pulsar GTiR, which competed in the WRC. - 1991

Competed in 24 Hours Nürburgring (Germany) and won in Group N class.
Competed in Total 24 Hours of Spa (Belgium) and won in Group N class (sixth overall), becoming the first Japanese to achieve this remarkable feat.

N1は同ポイントでシリーズ2位。ツーリングカーはオートポリスとインターTECで2勝し、総合3位。
またニュルブルクリンク24時間耐久レース（ドイツ）と、スパフランコルシャン24時間耐久レース(ベルギー)参戦。Competed in the N1 Endurance Series in a Zexel Skyline and in the Japan Touringcar Championship in a Kyoseki Skyline. Finished as joint runner-up in the N1 series while placing third overall in the Japan Touringcar Championship, winning at Autopolis and Inter TEC.

スーパー耐久レースに2クラスで参戦、シリーズチャンピオン獲得。史上初の総合優勝を飾る。Competed in the GT300 class of the Japan GT Championship and reached the podium many times. Competed in the Mirage Cup Series. Competed in two classes in the Super Taikyu endurance series, becoming the series champion and winning the overall title for the first time in his career.

- KEY’S RACING TEAMを組織。チームオーナー兼ドライバーとして全日本GT選手権GT500クラスにスープラで参戦。
また、スーパー耐久シリーズにランサーで参戦。
GTでは3連続完走。入賞を果たし、スーパー耐久では早くも開幕から4連勝を獲得しシリーズチャンピオンに。Organized Key’s Racing Team. Competed in the GT500 class of the Japan GT Championship in a Supra as the team owner and driver.
Competed in the Super Taikyu endurance series in a Lancer.

恒例のニュルブルクリンク24時間レースにも参戦、日本人最高予選グリッド獲得、日本人最速ラップタイムなど、またしても記録を塗り替える。Competed in the 2001 Japan GT Championship in a Viper for Team Taisan.
Competed in the Super Taikyu endurance series in a Lancer; took pole position in all rounds and finished as the series champion.
Competed in the annual 24 Hours Nürburgring (Germany) and once again broke records, such as best Japanese qualifying grid and fastest Japanese lap time.- 2002
全日本GT選手権参戦。RE雨宮RX-7で3位入賞。タイサンポルシェGT3で3位入賞。タイサンバイパーで3位入賞。スポット参戦にもかかわらず、参戦したすべてのレースでチームを入賞に導く。
スーパー耐久ではランエボ7で全8戦中7戦でポールポジション。4勝を記録。
ニュルブルクリンク24時間耐久レースには、ファルケンGT-Rで参戦、一時は総合3位を走行するものの、エンジントラブルにより52位でフィニッシュ。Competed in the Japan GT Championship. Finished third in an RE Amemiya RX-7, third in a Taisan Porsche GT3, and third in a Taisan Viper. Despite only selective participation, won the team points in all races in which he competed.
In Super Taikyu, took pole position seven times in the eight rounds with a Lancer Evolution 7 and recorded four wins.
Competed in 24 Hours Nürburgring (Germany) in a Falken GT-R. Was running in third place overall at one point, but finished 52nd due to engine trouble.- 2003

ニュルブルクリンク24時間にも参戦。Competed in the Japan GT Championship in a Taisan Viper. Led the team to its first win in seven years of competing in the series in the rainy second round of the year.
In the Super Taikyu endurance series, became the series champion in a Lancer Evolution 8.

スーパー耐久シリーズに三菱ワークスとして参戦。全戦ポールポジションは史上2度目(史上初も自らが記録)。
全8戦中6勝でシリーズチャンピオン獲得。ニュルブルクリンク24時間耐久レースではクラス優勝、自らが持つ日本人最高位タイとなる総合5位に輝く(全240台中)。Competed in Super Taikyu for the Mitsubishi factory team. He took pole position in every round, marking only the second time that was ever done (he was also the first one to do it). Won six of the eight rounds and the series championship.
Won class title and finished fifth overall (among 240 entrants) in 24 Hours Nürburgring, which equaled his own record for the best finish ever by a Japanese driver.- 2005

総合23位（A6クラス6位）／240台中。最多勝記録は50勝まで更新。As lead driver, competed in the ST2 class of Super Taikyu in an Ohlins Lancer Evolution 9MR. Became the series champion for the second consecutive year. Won every round, the first time in ST2 history that was done.
Won overall victory (the opening round at Sendai Highland), to realize a long-cherished goal in the ST2 class. Named Mitsubishi Driver of the Year.
